The Lowell Five Bank recently honored a pledge made to the Merrimack Valley Food Bank by presenting the food bank with a check for $8,000. Before the food bank’s annual golf tournament in September, at which Lowell Five was the honoree, President and CEO Dave Wallace announced that the bank would match the money raised at the event, as well as the results of a food drive conducted at Lowell Five branches this past fall, to support the Operation Nourish Children’s Feeding Program. From left at the check presentation at the Lowell Five’s new headquarters in Tewksbury are Don Bedard, Lowell Five executive vice president of lending/credit; Sue Zacharer, director of development for the food bank; Wallace; Amy Pessia, executive director of the food bank; Tara Sek, Lowell Five associate vice president, commercial loan portfolio manager and a member MVFB board; and A.
